The European Network for Housing Research
(ENHR) sponsors major international conferences, publishes
a newsletter, provides a framework for nearly twenty working
groups, encourages smaller conferences and seminars, and
has an active group of PhD students (new housing researchers).
In July 2004 the Cambridge University
Centre for Housing and Planning Research will be the host
of the next ENHR housing conference. The Conference will
be held at Robinson College, University of Cambridge, England
from Friday July 2nd to Tuesday July 6th 2004.
The theme of the conference, Housing:
Growth and Regeneration, reflects both the opportunities
to plan high quality housing for the twenty first century
and the challenges of ensuring adequate housing for those
with limited resources.
The organizers of the ISA conference in
Toronto and the European conference in Cambridge decided
to keep the dates of the two conferences close together
in case researchers wanted to attend both. The ENHR conference
begins a few days after the ISA conference in Toronto.
