The Research Committee on Housing and the Built Environment hosts and co-sponsors large international and smaller regional and topical conferences from time-to-time.
The June 2004 RC43 Conference in Toronto
The most recent RC43 international conferences was held in Toronto in June 2004. About 300 researchers from 40 countries presented papers during the four-day conference. The University of Toronto’s Centre for Urban and Community Studies organized the conference on behalf of RC43.

The Asia-Pacific Network for Housing Research (APNHR), founded in 2001, will hold its next international conference, Housing and Globalization, on September 6 to 8, 2005 in Kobe, Japan.
APNHR is now calling for papers from housing researchers and professionals interested in participating in this conference.
